Buying Discovery Cove Tickets
Discovery Cove Orlando Florida is different to all the other Florida theme parks in that each day, admission is strictly limited to 1000 guests and you must buy your ticket in advance, you cannot simply turn up on the day and hope to get in.
You can buy:
- a one day Discovery Cove ticket, either with or without a dolphin swim experience
- a one day Twilight Discovery ticket, either with or without a shallow-water dolphin wade experience
- a one day Trainer for a Day ticket including a dolphin swim
- a one day Dolphin Lover's Sleepover ticket including a sleepover package and dolphin swim
- special discount tickets for Florida residents
All Discovery Cove tickets come with a 7 day admission to either SeaWorld or Busch Gardens Africa. This can be upgraded for $30 to a 14 pass to both parks; i.e. both SeaWorld and Busch Gardens Africa.

Changes for 2007
Discovery Cove have reverted to seasonal pricing following an all-year pricing structure introduced in 2006 but the new Discovery Cove tickets includes additional benefits.
You should book up well in advance if you plan to visit Discovery Cove around main holiday times like Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
At present you can get a 10% discount on selected dates (February 4 - March 15, April 25 - May 18 or September 3 - December 20) if you book at least 100 days in advance.
There is no separate pricing for adults and children as such but children under the age of 6 cannot participate in the dolphin swim.
Children under the age of 3 are admitted for free.

Included in the normal Discovery Cove ticket prices is a 7 consecutive day complimentary pass to either SeaWorld, Aquatica or Busch Gardens that can be used either before or after the visit to Discovery Cove. For an additional $30 charge, this can be increased to two park admissions or for an additional $50 to all three theme parks for 14 consecutive days.
Other Discovery Cove Ticket Packages
Discovery Cove also offer a Twilight Discovery package which includes a shallow-water dolphin interaction and gourmet evening meal, a Trainer for a Day package, a Dolphin Lover's Sleepover package and special tickets for Florida residents.
