This is the base package which includes your Walt Disney World resort hotel and Magic Your Way base tickets for everyone in the group.
To purchase a Dining Plan, you must be a Walt Disney World Resort guest and have purchased a Magic Your Way Package (in advance).
With each of the dining plans, you get a number of additional benefits including:
This is the Disney's Magic Your Way Package plus the standard dining plan with two meals and one snack per person for each night of your stay.
You get one quick service meal, one snack and one table service meal for each member of the party. Adults (aged 10 and above) must order from the adult menu and children (aged 3 to 9) must eat from children's menu if available.
For 2007, the table service meals include an appetizer (dinner) and gratuities, but for 2008 these have been dropped from the plan.
This new plan for 2008 is the Disney's Magic Your Way Package plus a deluxe dining plan with three meals (including appetizer) and two snacks per person for each night of your stay.
You get three meals each day which can be redeemed at quick service counters or table service restaurants and two snacks plus a resort refillable drink mug (resort only, not parks etc.).
This means you can purchase a resort breakfast, quick service or table service lunch and dinner each day but the plan is nearly twice the price of the standard plan.
If you want a range of all-inclusive recreational activities thrown in as well, then the Disney's Magic Your Way Package Premium Package might be worth considering.
You get the same benefits as the Deluxe Dining Plan; i.e. three meals (including appetizer) and two snacks per person for each night of the stay plus a refillable mug for use in your resort.
Also included are a wide range of recreational activities, theme park tours and one admission to the Cirque du Soleil show, La Nouba.
The recreational activities include:
As part of the Premium package, you can also go on a number of theme park tours:
Note that with the Premium Plan, Grand gatherings one count as single meal.
The ultimate package is the Platinum Package which provides the same benefits as the Premium Package but with access to additional theme park tours and cruises. This package is only available to guests staying at one of the Disney Deluxe Resorts or at selected Disney Vacation Club Resorts only.
With the Platinum Plan, you are also entitled to eat from the Premium Menu at the exclusive Victoria and Albert's signature restaurant at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. You can upgrade to the Chef's Table, Elite Menu or include Royal Wine Pairing for an additional charge.
The recreational benefits are the same as the Premium Package with a few additional events and tours included:
Another new package for 2008 is the Wine & Dine package which can be added on to any plan, based on length of stay. The package gives you one bottle of wine per room per night, excluding gratuities.
As the legal drinking age in Florida is 21, you must be 21 or over to purchase the Wine & Dine package.
Selected wines in signature restaurants and in-room dining can cost 2 credits, instead of 1.
