December 2008 Florida Events

With Halloween now over, all the major theme parks have switched over to their Thanksgiving and Holiday Season celebrations.

NASA currently have one launch planned for December, namely the NROL-26 spy satellite for the U.S. National Reconnaissance Office on December 16th.

There are no County fairs in December, but you do not have long to wait as they pick up again in the New Year. Instead, just about ever major town will be holding a Christmas parade.

The theme parks will be a lot quieter in the early part of December but will then start to get busy around Christmas and the New Year. Note that Cypress Gardens is closed for a major refurbishment so their Old Fashioned Christmas celebrations will not take place this year.

As well as all the Florida events for December 2008 listed on this page, why not also check out our Florida Things to Do pages for more great ideas of what to do on your Florida vacation.
