Walt Disney World, Magic KingdomDisney has their family-orientated Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom. For 2011 the party runs on 23 selected nights for September 13, 16, 20, 23, 27 and 30, October 2, 6, 7, 10, 11, 13, 16, 18, 20, 21, 23, 25, 27, 28, 30 and 31 and November 1. This is a separately ticketed event and prices are between $53.95 and $67.95 (plus tax) for adults and between $47.95 and $62.95 (plus tax) for children ages 3-9: if purchased in advance If purchased on the day, prices are between $59.95 and $67.95 (plus tax) and $53.95 and $62.95 (plus tax) for children.
Disney Halloween celebrations The park re-opens at 7 pm and closes at midnight. Costumes are allowed and the entertainment includes Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade including Disney Characters and the stars of the Haunted Mansion attraction. The parade starts with a spook-tacular ride by the Headless Horseman. The event ends with Happy HalloWishes, a spectacular fireworks show where the Disney Villains go trick-or-treating in the sky. Throughout the park you can find favourite Disney Characters and Disney Villains in special Halloween costumes and areas of the park are transformed into happy haunted hollows with special lighting, music and theming effects. Children can trick-or-treat for candies and goodies from the Disney characters. |
