The Eagle Pointe residential subdivision in Kissimmee was built around 2004 and runs into the neighbouring Indian Point community just off Poinciana Boulevard between US Highway 192 (Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway) to the north and 17/92 to the south.

Eagle Pointe is ideally situated for all the major theme parks in the Orlando area and with easy access to Interstate 4 if you wish to travel further afield

Read our review of Eagle Palm Villa, a luxury four bedroom, two bathroom lakeside vacation home with its own pool and games room on Eagle Pointe.

Both Indian Point and Eagle Pointe are quiet residential communities with a number of short term rental vacation homes.

As Poinciana Boulevard has become busier in recent years, there is a little traffic noise during the morning “rush hour” but otherwise it is a very tranquil area.

The homes are a mix of one and two storey houses set amongst wooded conservation areas and lakes, with wide streets leading onto open plan front gardens. Many of the homes have lakeside views.

Getting There

As you drive south on Poinciana Boulevard, you pass Terra Verde and then Indian Point on your left. Eagle Pointe is the next entrance on the left

If you are driving north, then it is on your right, just past Cumbrian Lakes and Liberty Village

Being just south of US Highway 192, Eagle Pointe is only 10-15 minutes drive from the Walt Disney World Resort and about 25 minutes from SeaWorld which makes is very convenient particularly if you wish to come home from the theme parks in the afternoon for a few hours rest before returning for the evening entertainment.

A 24 hour WalMart SuperCenter (next to Medieval Times) is a few minutes drive away on US Highway 192 and there is also a large Publix supermarket on the junction of SR535 and US Highway 192.

We can recommend Going 2 Orlando who manage a number of 3 and 4 bedroom homes on Eagle Pointe and the surrounding communities.
