Review of Eagle Palm Villa on Eagle Pointe

The house itself is a pretty villa, on a residential street with a good mix of rental properties and permanent residences.

With four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a great room or living room, dining room, kitchen with eating area, laundry and games room, the accommodation would be ideal for two families.

In fact the bedrooms were arranged so that two families could be at opposite sides of the property, each family having their own double room, twin room and bathroom.

All the accommodation was tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. The management company, Unique Florida Rentals, were situated just down the street and dealt with any problems the same day.

The Master suite was one of the best we have come across with a king bed in a spacious room overlooking the lake and leading off into a master bath with walk in shower, tub, twin vanity units, a separate W.C and access to a large walk in closet. All tastefully decorated and very luxurious.

The kitchen had everything you would need, and it was refreshing to see a proper jug kettle (a rarity in USA). There was ample cutlery, crockery and non break patioware was also provided.

The west facing screened pool (can be heated if required) and patio area look out onto a peacefull lake teaming with wildlife like herons, egrets, ducks, anhingas (like a cormorant) and fish eagles all in evidence.

For children, there was a DVD player, Playstation 2 console with a number of games and the garage has been converted into a games room with a table tennis, table football table and a darts board.

An added bonus is free international telephone calls which made phoning home easy and convenient.

On our return, we made a small suggestion to the owners, and they had it put into operation the same day; impressive!.

We would certainly book Eagle Palm Villa again and can recommend both Eagle Palm Villa and Unique Florida Villas who manage a number of 3 and 4 bedroom homes on Eagle Pointe and the surrounding communities.

Location

Eagle Pointe is a relatively new development, off Poinciana Boulevard, just south of US Highway 192, with its bustling mix of bars, restaurants and shopping malls.

Walmart is just around the corner and Disney just 10-15 minutes away, making it ideally situated to allow a trip back to the house mid afternoon for a swim and a snack, before returning to the parks for the evening performances.
