Legoland Florida opened on October 15, 2011 but they started selling advanced tickets at a discounted price.
The regular price for a one day Standard admission ticket is $75 for adults and $65 for children. As part of a pre-launch promotion, Legoland Florida started offering discounted admission tickets until December 31, 2010. In early January 2011 this offer was extended until the end of April 2011 for both standard one day admission tickets and annual passes. The preview period was then extended again. Note that the preview one day standard admission tickets must be used by May 30, 2012.

As far as Legoland Florida is concerned, to buy a child ticket, the child must be aged between 3 and 12. Note that most other parks treat children over 10 as adults so at Legoland this is a bonus.
Children under 3 are admitted free and seniors aged 60 years or over can purchased a senior ticket (same price as a child).
Legoland Florida are also offering a lifetime pass as well as the normal annual passes offered by most of the other theme parks.
Unlike most Florida theme parks, Legoland Florida will not be open every day. Their current schedule shows the park being closed on some Tuesdays and Wednesdays during the spring, autumn and winter periods.
In 2011 the park will be closed on November 1, 2, 8, 19, 16, 17, 29, 30, December 6, 7, 13 and 14. In 2012 it will be closed on January 3, 4, 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, 25, 31, February 1, 7, 8, 14, 15, 28, 29, March 6, 7, April 24, 25, May 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, September 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, 19, 25, 26, October 2, 3, 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24, November 6, 7, 13, 14, 27, 28, December 4, 5, 11 and 12.

Future Legoland Florida Ticket Deals
Legoland has also stated they will introduce a two-day ticket and "front-of-line" passes like Disney's FASTPASS and Universal Studios Express Plus Pass to avoid waiting in line.
Interestingly, there is also talk of bundling ticket offers with competitors. The most obvious choice would be some kind of link with the OrlandoFlex ticket which gives you admission to SeaWorld, Aquatica, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and Wet 'n Wild plus selected City Walk venues for 14 consecutive days plus optionally Busch Gardens in Tampa Bay.
Another option might be as part of the Orlando GO CARD which includes destinations such as Gatorland and the Kennedy Space Center.
