Current Rocket & Space Shuttle Launch Schedule 2010

If you ever get the opportunity to watch the launch of a rocket or space shuttle then you do not want to miss it; it is an experience of a lifetime. Words cannot describe the sounds of a space shuttle blasting off from the Kennedy Space Center.

Note that all launch dates are provisionally and are subject to change, you should always check with the Kennedy Space Center before making a special trip.

October 19, 2010 - United Launch Alliance Delta 4 Rocket, NROL-32

The Delta 4 mission is to launch a classified payload for the U.S. National Reconnaissance Office.

Launch is from launch pad SLC-37B.

Late October, 2010 - Falcon 9 Demonstrator

A SpaceX Falcon 9 will make its second flight carrying the first active Dragon capsule. This vehicle is being developed to deliver supplies to the International Space Station.

Launch is from launch pad SLC-40.

Delayed from July 21, August and September 9, 2010. Launch date is still provisional.

November 1, 2010 - Space Shuttle Discovery, STS-133

The 35th and penultimate mission to the International Space Station will deliver the EXPRESS Logistics Carrier 3 (ELC4) and the Permanent Multipurpose Module (PMM). This will be Discovery's last flight.

Launch time is provisionally set for 4:33 pm EDT from launch pad LC-39A.

Launch pushed back from September 16 to allow for completion of critical payload modules.
