Buying Discovery Cove Tickets

Discovery Cove Orlando Florida is different to all the other Florida theme parks in that each day, admission is strictly limited to 1000 guests and you must buy your ticket in advance, you cannot simply turn up on the day and hope to get in.

You can buy:

All Discovery Cove tickets come with a 14 day admission to either SeaWorld or Busch Gardens Africa. This can be upgraded for $50 to a three park pass; i.e. SeaWorld, Aquatica and Busch Gardens Africa.

You should book up well in advance if you plan to visit Discovery Cove around main holiday times like Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Changes for 2010

Discovery Cove have simplified their ticket offerings with a seasonal pricing structure. The normal price is $289 but for certain dates this reduces to $249.

 

There is no separate pricing for adults and children as such but children under the age of 6 cannot participate in the dolphin swim.

Children under the age of 3 are admitted for free.

Valet Parking

If you are planning to visit SeaWorld, Aquatica or Busch Gardens more than once as part of your 14 day pass, it is well worth considering valet parking at Discovery Cove as you then receive special free VIP parking at SeaWorld, Aquatica or Busch Gardens (close to the main park entrance).

Includes reserved 30 minute dolphin-swim experience, continental breakfast and lunch, including all snacks and beverages throughout the day, mask, snorkel, swim vest, towel, locker, sunscreen and other amenities, all day self-parking and admission to either SeaWorld Orlando or Busch Gardens Africa (Tampa Bay) for 14 consecutive days $289.00

As above but with admission to SeaWorld Orlando, Aquatica and Busch Gardens Africa (Tampa Bay) for 14 consecutive days. $339.00

Included in the normal Discovery Cove ticket prices is a 14 consecutive day complimentary pass to either SeaWorld or Busch Gardens that can be used either before or after the visit to Discovery Cove. For an additional $50 charge, this can be increased to three park admissions including Aquatica for 14 consecutive days. Note that the 14 consecutive days admissions to SeaWorld, Aquatica and/or Busch Gardens Africa can now be taken either before, after or during the visit to Discovery Cove and must be confirmed at the time of booking.

Other Discovery Cove Ticket Packages

Discovery Cove also offer a Twilight Discovery package which includes a shallow-water dolphin interaction and gourmet evening meal, a Trainer for a Day package and special tickets for Florida residents.
