Buying Discovery Cove Trainer for a Day Tickets

If you want to discover a bit more about what goes on at Discovery Cove then you can buy a special Trainer for a Day package which gives you an enhanced dolphin interaction and training encounter, access to special behind-the-scenes feedings at the Coral Reef, feeding and care of exotic birds in the free-flight aviary plus behind-the-scenes small-mammal playtime and training session, behind-the-scenes animal food preparation and record review and an animal behavioural training class.

All Discovery Cove tickets come with a 14 day admission to either SeaWorld or Busch Gardens Africa. This can be upgraded for $50 to a three park pass; i.e. SeaWorld, Aquatica and Busch Gardens Africa. Note that the 14 consecutive days admissions to SeaWorld, Aquatica and/or Busch Gardens Africa can now be taken either before, after or during the visit to Discovery Cove and must be confirmed at the time of booking.

You should book up well in advance if you plan to visit Discovery Cove around main holiday times like Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

At present if you book and visit before March 31, 2009 you can get a $50 discount or if you book at least 100 days in advance you can get a $30 discount on the following dates - April 27 to May 22 and September 8 to December 18.

There is no separate pricing for adults and children as such but children under the age of 6 cannot participate in the shallow-water dolphin interaction.

Children under the age of 3 are admitted for free.

Valet Parking

If you are planning to visit SeaWorld, Aquatica or Busch Gardens more than once as part of your 14 day pass, it is well worth considering valet parking at Discovery Cove as you then receive special free VIP parking at SeaWorld, Aquatica or Busch Gardens (close to the main park entrance).

Discovery Cove Trainer for a Day ticket prices, 2010

Discovery Cove ticket prices are subject to change and you should check with Discovery Cove for the latest prices.

To participate in the "Trainer for a Day" you must be in good physical condition and at least 6 years old. All guests under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a paid "Trainer for a Day" adult.

Florida residents can get a great discount on normal prices.

Discovery Cove also offer a normal daytime All-inclusive package which includes a dolphin swim, Non-dolphin swim package, Twilight Discovery package which includes a shallow-water dolphin interaction and gourmet evening meal and special tickets for Florida residents.
