Lego have announced the opening of Legoland Florida on the site of Cypress Gardens in Central Florida.

It will be the largest Legoland to date and will create 1,000 jobs. It is expected to open in late 2011.

Universal Orlando has announced a new ticket pricing structure called "U Select", in time for the opening of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. It follows a similar idea introduced by Walt Disney World in 2005, the Disney "Magic Your Way" ticket system and the idea is to encourage guests to visit the Universal parks for more than just a couple of days.

2011 - NASA Radiation Belt Storm Probes

A United Launch Alliance Atlas 5 Rocket will launch two almost identical spacecraft from launch pad SLC-41. The two satellites will study the radiation belts surrounding Earth to better understand of how they are affected by the Sun's changing energy flows.

2011 - Mars Science Laboratory

A United Launch Alliance Atlas 5 Rocket will launch the Mars Science Laboratory which is a rover that assess the environment's ability to support microbial life and the planet's habitability.

2011 - United Launch Alliance Delta 4 Rocket, WGS 4

A United Launch Alliance Delta 4 heavy rocket will launch the fourth of five Wideband Global SATCOM satellite (WGS) for the US military. Launch is provisionally scheduled for between December 2011 and February 2012.

2012 - Tracking and Data Relay (TDRS-K)

A United Launch Alliance Atlas 5 Rocket will launch the first Tracking and Data Relay satellite from launch pad SLC-41. The satellite will support a relay network providing voice, data, video and telemetry links between geosynchronous orbit satellites and the ground including the Hubble Space Telescope and the International Space Station.

A United Launch Alliance Atlas 5 Rocket will launch the second Tracking and Data Relay satellite from launch pad SLC-41. The satellite will support a relay network providing voice, data, video and telemetry links between geosynchronous orbit satellites and the ground including the Hubble Space Telescope and the International Space Station.

2014 - NASA Radiation Belt Storm Probes

A United Launch Alliance Atlas 5 Rocket will launch four identical spacecraft from launch pad SLC-41. The four satellites will study the interaction between the Sun's solar wind and the Earth's magnetic field.
