Legoland Florida

Lego have announced the opening of Legoland Florida on the site of Cypress Gardens in Central Florida.

It will be the largest Legoland to date and will create 1,000 jobs. It is expected to open in late 2011.

Universal U Select

Universal Orlando has announced a new ticket pricing structure called "U Select", in time for the opening of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. It follows a similar idea introduced by Walt Disney World in 2005, the Disney "Magic Your Way" ticket system and the idea is to encourage guests to visit the Universal parks for more than just a couple of days.

Buying SeaWorld Orlando Tickets

SeaWorld Orlando Florida theme park ticketing used to be pretty straight forward but with the imminent opening of Aquatica, they now offer a number of different multi-park tickets as well as the standard one day ticket, Florida residents tickets and annual passport.

You can buy either:

  • a one day/one park ticket which admits you to SeaWorld
  • a two park ticket which admits you to SeaWorld plus either Aquatica OR Busch Gardens and allows you to visit them for 7 consecutive days
  • a three park ticket which admits you to SeaWorld plus Aquatica AND Busch Gardens and allows you to visit them for 7 consecutive days

Child Tickets

Like most of the Florida theme parks, anyone aged 10 or over on the day of their first entry to SeaWorld or Aquatica is classed as an adult and will have to buy an adult ticket.

Children between the ages of 3 and 9 are classed as children and may purchase a child ticket.

Children under the age of 3 are admitted for free.

If you are aged 50 and over you are classed as a senior and can often get a discount such as with the annual passports.
