Recent History Of Disney Ticket Price Rises

It is interesting to see how these prices have risen over recent years and in particular how child ticket prices have increased, with the difference between an adult ticket and a child ticket being squeezed.

For four days with the hopper option, the 2007 price would have been $928. Today the price is $1,154, a 24.3% rise.

Looking at child ticket prices, in 2007 a one day ticket was $56 whereas today it is $79, a 41.1% increase. The equivalent adult tickets were $67 and $85 respectively, a 26.9% increase.

As before though, the multi-day tickets offer better value for money though in percentage terms, they have actually increased more than the one day tickets. For example looking at the difference between 2007 and 2011, a ten day adult ticket has risen from $216 to $291, a 34.7% increase and a ten day child ticket from $177 to $272, a 53.7% increase.
