Top Florida Beaches

Professor Stephen Leatherman (Dr Beach) from Florida International University has ranked two of Florida's beaches in the top ten of his annual America's Best Beaches survey for 2010.

This year the top spot goes to Coopers Beach in Southampton, New York.

In second place for the second year in a row is Siesta Beach near Sarasota. In tenth place is Cape Florida State Park in Key Biscayne (in eighth place last year).

Only swimming beaches are considered and previous winners are automatically excluded from the latest survey.
