TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice 2010

Several Florida resorts have made it into the top 10 TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice 2010 Best Destinations for the United States category including Sanibel Island and Miami Beach.

In the "Beach & Sun" category, Myrtle Beach in South Carolina took the top spot with Clearwater in fifth place, Sanibel Island sixth, Sarasota seventh and Destin eighth. A clear thumbs up to Florida's Gulf Coast beaches.

In "Culture & Sightseeing", Washington DC was top with historic Saint Augustine in eighth place.

Surprisingly in the "Family Destinations" category, Orlando came only fifth. Wisconsin Dells in Wisconsin was first with Anaheim, California home of Disneyland second. When all the world was taken into account, the overall winner was Marne-la-Vallee outside Paris in France, home of EuroDisney.

For nightlife, New Orleans, Louisiana was the most voted place in the United States with Key West sixth and Miami Beach seventh.

Finally in the Romance category, Napa California came first with Saint Augustine fifth.
