Universal Grad Bash '10

Each year Universal Orlando holds a party for High school seniors and their chaperones after normal park hours from 7 pm to 2 am. The dates for 2010 are April 23, 24 and 30.

The celebrations take place in both parks, Universal Studios Florida and Universal's Islands of Adventure where you have access to a number of rides and shows as well as dance parties, live DJs, karaoke, street performers and live music entertainment.

This year, the live music comes from Flo Rida and Sean Kingston plus DJ Khaled.

Universal have promised graduating seniors access to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter though it is not officially opening until June 18 so it will be interesting to see what happens.

If you cannot wait until 7 pm, you can start the evening with a Universal CityWalk pre-party between 5 pm and 8 pm with an unlimited buffer dinner, live entertainment and exclusive access to dance parties at some of CityWalk's hottest clubs.

Alternatively there is the Mardi Gras pre-party from 5 pm to 7 pm with an unlimited buffer dinner, beads, stilt walkers and early access to TWISTER... Ride it Out, Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit and Revenge of the Mummy plus entertainment on the Music Plaza Stage.

Please note that Universal have a very strict dress code for these events. Articles of clothing that are not allowed include any clothing with holes or tears, gang related paraphernalia, unacceptable logos (including obscene, drug, alcohol or tobacco related), tank tops, revealing clothing (including bare midriffs or dresses or skirts shorter than mid thigh), visible undergarments, clothing with high school names or logos, sports team clothing and any accessories that could be used as weapons and backpacks.
