Discovery Cove Orlando is different from the other major Florida theme parks because daily admission is strictly capped, giving the park a much more limited-capacity resort feel than the larger Orlando parks.

Admission includes breakfast, lunch, unlimited snacks and beverages, and complimentary use of snorkels, swim vests, wetsuits, towels, lockers, showers, sunscreen, and changing rooms.

All tickets to Discovery Cove include freshly prepared food, unlimited snacks, non-alcoholic drinks, and for guests aged 21 or over, a selection of beers and wines. That bundled food-and-drink element is part of what makes Discovery Cove pricing look higher than a normal Orlando theme park ticket, because the admission is covering more than park entry alone.

Breakfast is served at the Laguna Grill between 7:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. and lunch between 11:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Discovery Cove has simplified its ticket offerings with a seasonal pricing structure but it is worth checking alternative dates as you can often get the same deal for less money on another date.

There is no separate pricing for adults and children, but children under the age of 6 cannot participate in the dolphin swim. Children aged 6 to 12 can swim with a dolphin but only if accompanied by an adult who has also purchased the swim package.

Anyone under the age of 18 must have a signed waiver by a parent or natural guardian to participate in the dolphin swim or SeaVenture activity.

Children under the age of 3 are usually admitted free, but you should still check the current booking rules when reserving.
